Burnout is a word that is thrown around a lot.
Too many people seem to be living their lives in such a way that “burnout” is only one minor crisis away from becoming a reality.
Words like “overwhelmed”, “busy”, “depleted” are words I hear far too often (and are not words that I ever use myself).
This is no way to live so I wanted to share both my thoughts on the idea of burnout as well as some very practical things that we need to be doing to help ensure burnout is not something that we are always tip-toeing around.
